Q. Is OWIT membership restricted to women?

A. OWIT membership is not restricted by gender or current job description. Men, students and retirees are welcome to apply.

Q. Who are your members?

A. Our members share an interest in international trade and are professionals from many industries including, banking and finance, communications, customs and trade law, education, government and diplomacy, import/export, insurance, technology, non-profit organizations, transportation, and other trade-related services.

Q. Do I have to be an OWIT member to come to your programs or social events?

A. No. Non-members are welcome to attend all of our events. The cost to attend a program will only be slightly higher than that paid by OWIT members.

Q. How frequently does OWIT-Chicago host programs or social events?

A. OWIT-Chicago hosts approximately 9-10 programs or social events a year beginning in August. The purpose of these programs is twofold: (a) to offer members a forum for discussion and exchange views with experts from the international trade community, and (b) provide networking opportunities. Q. What is the password to access the OWIT Online Job Bank?

A. The password to the OWIT online Job Bank is revised once a year and is provided only to members with their membership packages.
